Jason’s Story
Growing up in a family with a great work ethic, I have always been focused and absolutely determined to meet my goals. But even with the greatest perseverance, if you don’t have financial resources, you might need your community to support you.
That’s why I turned to The Scholarship Fund, and why I’m so grateful they invested in me. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in law and society from Penn State University, I enrolled in the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, where I received financial assistance twice from The Scholarship Fund.
Since then, I have consulted nationally and globally on behalf of refugee advocacy and strategy. I have served as Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations for the World Evangelical Alliance, co-founded Seek the Peace, and run for local political office.
I encourage The Scholarship Fund to continue to invest in the lives of people like me—people for whom financial assistance makes all the difference in their ability to reach their full potential.
