He is the first person in his family to earn a college degree. With our financial help and his own hard work, he now has a career as an environmental health and safety specialist.
Aaron’s Story
The help I received from The Scholarship Fund lifted such a burden off the shoulders of my mother and me, helping me through all four years of my undergraduate degree. I don’t know how I would have gone to college without that support.
Instead, I was able to earn a bachelor’s degree in bio-environmental science from Texas A&M University—the first person in my family to hold a college degree. It was amazing to see the proud smiles on the faces of my family as I crossed that stage in my cap and gown!
Today, I have a great job as an environmental, health, and safety specialist for Tesla.
I will be forever grateful to The Scholarship Fund for the opportunities they brought to my life. Their work has inspired me to make a vow: When I am able, I plan on creating scholarship opportunities for other students, just as they have done. And for now, I am honored to serve on The Scholarship Fund board of directors to help them serve as many students as possible.
